Education is important to the members of Premier Amarillo Scholarship Fund. All our members are current or former employees of PHS-Amarillo. Our goal is to provide financial aide for students who qualify for our scholarships inspiring them in life. Premier Amarillo Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping inspire students strive for excellence in life.
The Premier Amarillo Scholarship Fund is the brain child of Craig and Casey Brucker.
Craig has a long history of helping non-profits and children in Texas.
He is our founding president / chairman. Craig was there from PHS-Amarillo's inception and worked as the Front Office Manager/ Registrar of Premier High School® in Amarillo for almost a decade. He always had the desire to try to help motivate the students and get the students scholarships. Craig is very excited to help the Premier High School Fund help change the lives of students.
Mr. McCarty is a very passionate individual who is very proud to be part of the Premier Amarillo Scholarship fund.
He has held the responsibility of having the largest body of students of any teacher for several years in a row.
He has a background in correctional facilities before attaining his Masters degree. He then came to PHS-Amarillo and quickly became one of the campuses go to teachers. He has a real knack for building real relationships with students. It's said that he can be a man of few words, but when those words are of praise or encouragement they just mean the world.
When called on to be the founding Vice President he did not hesitate and took on the roll with pride.
Becky Pinson is the Campus Director of PHS-Amarillo. She has her Masters Degree and her background in being a coach helped her find her style of guidance for others in life. She has previously been part of Boys Ranch, San Jacinto Christian academy, and Richard Milburn. This project is near and dear to her heart because of one of her dear friends Darla Sutton who has a founding scholarship in her name. In the organizations inception Craig and Becky "kicked the can" in her office together. She is personally responsible for the guidance of thousands of students, helping foster the ability to obtain a accredited High School Diploma.
Melanie is the front office registrar of PHS- Amarillo. She is the first person many people see when entering the school and makes a strong effort to say hello and good bye to every student each day! She is very excited to be part of the Premier Amarillo Scholarship Fund and help the students
She has a background as respiratory therapist in the hospitals. She was also involved in the Waco Kiwanians club.
Casey is the founding teacher of PHS-Amarillo. From the first conversation her and her husband Craig Brucker had she expressed desire to be an educator. She is extremely excited and proud of the Premier Amarillo Scholarship Fund as from the start she felt the need for the students to be able to obtain financial aide. Throughout the years she always takes the time to help the students apply to different scholarships around the nation. Having a fund in house is going to help her inspire students to not only apply but believe in themselves.
Mrs. Clinite is one of the SPED department leads at PHS-Amarillo. Her passion for helping others is part of who she is.
She earned her bachelors with honors and became at teacher at PHS-Amarillo before transitioning into her dream roll of being a SPED Teacher. She has thrown herself into any roll required of the school and is considered one of the heartbeats of the campus.
